Rep. Mario M. Scavello (R-176) will hold his ninth annual Senior Citizen Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, July 26, at the Pocono Mountain East Senior High School, Pocono Mountain School Road, in Swiftwater. 

Sens. David Argall (R-29) and Pat Browne (R-16) are also expected to attend.

“My Senior Expo has been a truly enjoyable event for me and the hundreds of senior citizens who attend each year,” said Scavello.  “Many exhibitors provide invaluable information for everyone.”

All senior citizens are encouraged to attend.  The expo features drawings and giveaways, assistance with searches for unclaimed property in the Pennsylvania Treasury, an identity theft seminar by the Office of Attorney General and entertainment by Ross the Mentalist.  In addition to these events, the expo will include a variety of free services, including:  blood pressure screenings, mortgage counseling, chair massages, bone density checks, and video otoscopy.

Approximately 70 exhibitors will attend and provide free information to participants. Exhibitors will distribute brochures and answer questions about services available from various agencies.
